Cookies Policy
What cookies we use on this website, what they do, and how you can manage or disable them.
Last updated: 21 May 2026
This Cookies Policy explains how XA Electrics Ltd ("we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. By continuing to use our website, you consent to the use of cookies as described in this policy.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device and remember information about your visit, such as your preferences and actions.
How We Use Cookies
We use cookies to make our website work properly, to understand how visitors use it, and to improve your experience. We do not use cookies to collect any personally identifiable information about you.
Types of Cookies We Use
Strictly Necessary
These are required for the website to function and to remember your cookie preferences. They are set only by us and do not track you.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| xa_cookie_consent | xaelectrics.com | Stores your cookie consent choice (accept/decline) | Until cleared |
Note: this preference is stored in your browser's localStorage, which is a similar technology to cookies.
Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with our site so we can improve it. IP addresses are anonymised. These cookies are only set if you click Accept on our cookie banner.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Distinguishes unique users | 2 years | |

Third-Party Embeds
Our Contact page embeds Google Maps so you can find our location. Google may set its own cookies (such as NID and SOCS) when the map loads. These are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Spam Protection (Google reCAPTCHA)
Our contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA sets a cookie that allows Google to assess whether the visitor is a human or a bot. This is considered a strictly necessary security cookie and is set whenever the contact form loads.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _GRECAPTCHA | Risk analysis to distinguish humans from bots | 6 months |
Google Search Console
We use Google Search Console to monitor our site's presence in Google search results. Search Console does not set any cookies on your device — it is purely an admin tool for the site owner.
Managing Cookies
You can control and manage cookies in your browser at any time. Most browsers allow you to:
- See what cookies have been set and delete them individually
- Block third-party cookies
- Block all cookies from being set
- Delete all cookies when you close your browser
Please note that blocking or disabling cookies may affect the functionality of this website. For more information on how to manage cookies in your browser, visit www.aboutcookies.org.

We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the cookies we use or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. The latest version will always appear on this page with the "Last updated" date at the top.
